I would like to think I am a nice man who would not hurt a fly, I like to make people happy, I hate to see suffering, I dislike rudeness and feel there is too much yobbish behaviour about. I am a little shy but enjoy a laugh.
I like to walk, especially in the countryside, along a sandy beach or through a forest anywhere lovely.
I was a chef for 20 years and I still enjoy experimenting at home by cooking all sorts of foreign dishes. I am really keen to travel more. India, China, Russia and Egypt appeal for starters.
I am a Christian but I also have an interest in Buddhism. I love to help those less priviliged than our selves. I would like to go on some retreats to help orphaned children and abused women in India, Tibet South America and other places.
I am training to become a counsellor, helping those with drink and drug problems.
I enjoy gardening and visiting cathedrals and castles.
I do a bit of gardening at my beautiful local village church.
I have never been married and have no children. I would like to change these two points!
I am very romantic. Once I relax and get over my initial shyness I am a nice man to be with, and enjoy a chin wag and a good time. I like to keep fit, I love chocolate, cheese on toast with brown sauce, but not together. Can't stand celery and dirty finger nails and ironing (but I do my share of it!!)

Ich wollte immer schon versuchen

To go through 24 hours with out worrying or feeling anxious about something. It might sound odd, but I get tierd of worry. I am generally happy but worry keeps getting a look in.
Love will help resolve this, I am sure of it.
