Ik beschrijf mezelf als:

I am a single mom of a 14yr old female, she is a blessing that can also be trying everyones patience.. but sweet as pie too! I am 36 yrs old, I have been married once (and in that relationship for 14yrs). I am very loyal, good hearted woman. I don't always have a lot to say, but I am usually direct with what I am thinking (this has gotten me into trouble before) I do work very hard at thinking before I speak so that it does not come out the wrong way. I do not want to be in a one sided relationship (been there done that) I like affection and I am not overly affectionate in public. I would say that I have great morals (at least I like them) I am a bit old fashioned when it comes to dating. I believe a man should show respect to woman, be protectors and providers of their families.. A relationship should be a partnership of love and friendship. I use my parents relationship as a guide for what I want in a relationship. They still date eachother, they take the time that they need for themselves, they are giving and caring to eachother, they respect eachother, they share their lives, money, friends, God, house cleaning and cooking and a lot more with eachother. Yes they get mad or frustrated with eachother but they always come back and compromise and talk about what they can do different if anything at all. I like this because it is open and honest. The biggest thing they have is TRUST. Ok so enough about them... I got on this sight because I thought it would be a great way to get to know different people. I hopeful that a relationship will come out of a friendship. but will not be pushing for a relationship out the gate. I do not drink... in fact I am a recovering Alcoholic and drug addict. I have been clean for 17yrs. God is very much a part of my life. If it wasn't for him I would not be here.. I don't mind someone who drinks but won't be with someone who drinks all the time. Not because I am afraid, but because I do not like that lifestyle. I do not go to bars unless it is a place to eat as well. I like to go to Church on Sundays when I am not working. I am a Residential Counselor, I work in a treatment center for Adolescent males... talk about an interesting time... it seems to me that my pattern with men has been to find the ones that don't really want to commit to anyone. I have always been told that I would be great Wife material... but can't seem to find that one. Oh well, thanks for listening to my soap box..
