In my dreams I see this tall dark handsome man with six pack abs, a full head of hair, and pearly white teeth and then I wake up! In the real world, hair and teeth are nice, and a strong body and mind would be a real plus! We all have our dreams of perfection but if we actually did find this dream why would they want us? LOL

So back to the world of reality I come. I have been a widow for 2 years. While it would be nice to have a lot in common, a carbon copy of me would be oh so boring.

Some of the things I like are history - especially early American and Texas history. I love flea markets and garage sales. Any live performance is fun indoor or out. Children entertaining at a back yard birthday party or a live performance in Vegas - I love them all. I like travel both domestic and international. I have been to England, Germany, France, Italy, Belize, Mexico, and Monaco. I have traveled a lot of the US. Places in the US I have on my bucket list are Hawaii (plans are in the works for October of '10), Vermont in the Fall (possibly fall of '10), Key West (anytime except hurricane season), and the Great Northwestern US. I am a native Texan but I am a long ways from seeing the entire state. Museums, vintage homes, state parks, and nature preserves are always interesting. I like to go and do things. I like to have some kind of excursion every 2-3 months if possible. My aunt and cousin and I combine trips to casinos with tourist sites and life entertainment - something for everyone!

Core Christian values are a must. Some people call this "spiritual but not religious". I don't live in the church but I do have many friends from church that I consider to be my extended family. I believe your faith is best shown thru the way you live your life. So if you worship trees or anything that's not Biblical I wish you the best in your search but I am not the one for whom you are searching.

I enjoy water sports. In Belize I snorkeled for the first time (with sharks!) Now I want to scuba dive. A friend and I are going up in an ultra light soon. Para sailing is in the works. I often date younger men because a lot of men my age have difficulty keeping up with me. When I went cave tubing in Belize there were young people in their 20's and 30's that couldn't keep up with me! I don't think I would bungie jump or sky dive, but never count me out for anything!
