Well as im sure you have guessed my name is shane,hi !

What makes me tick well I quess the key words would be spontaneity and variety, my interests are what you would probably discribe as eclectic,on one end of the scale I enjoy such pastimes as surfing and snowboarding ,and climbing to a degee as the later was embarked apon to deal with a fear of heights,but i am no adrenalin junky ! I just like to try new things. from there dropping down a notch or two ,I like exploring the countryside around us either on a mountain bike or on foot ,
I would like to explore kyaking as I have recently read an artical about a river trip fron the black hills in wales down the whye river into england, the appeal of viewing things from a different perspective hit a note for me!

On a more more sedate note movies feature pretty high on my list along with music , live if possible ! again pretty varied , from classical. Seether,k.o.l ,Velvet Revolver , Snow Patrol ,Shinedown ,R H C P ,and most other genres inbetween
Drawing and painting are also things I enjoy ,but rarely find time for them ! along with a long time interest in history ,archeaology and geneology ,

What am i looking for ? well making some new friends sounds pretty good , and if one of those turns out to be that elusive life partner what could be better !!
