I'm a"young" 61 year old widow looking for that special someone to continue life's journey. I love the Lord, and am grateful for salvation. I have wonderful children and grandchildren. A few of my favorite places are coffee shops, bookstores, and anywhere my grandkids are. I love gardens but am a lousy gardener. Walking along the water or sitting and watching sunsets are other favorites. I love to travel and experience other cultures. Favorites destinations include Scotland, Jamaica, Latvia. A dream goal is to go to Tuscany.Whne I have time, I enjoy cooking and trying new "dishes." I love sushi but have not tried to make it at home. I believe you never stop learning. I enjoy watching sports, football (go Green Bay!), soccer, golf, college basketball, hockey. Sitting under the stars next to a campfire; enjoying nature's beauty are also things I look forward to. Giving back to humanity is also important to me. My friends would describe me as warm, compassionate, flexible, giving, loyal, and a good listener. I believe in life you can choose to be the victim or the victor - that you have a choice over what your attitude will be. Respect, integrity, and open communication is something I hope someone has. I'm a nonsmoker and want someone who is the same. I drink and don't mind someone who does, as long as it is not an addicition. I'm on this site because I would like to meet a Christian man who loves the Lord and lives his life as if he does. My Idea Of Fun Is

It varies; sometimes planned play works while other times spur of the moment is best. Fun can be with only one other person or a group of people. I can have fun with my grandkids doing silly stuff or playing some sport; I can also have fun going to a concert or walking along the beach. A sense of humor definitely is a plus for having fun...fun doesn't have to be very active either...fun is what you make it.
