Widowed, for the second time, nearly 5 years ago, I am ready for a new relationship. Both husbands died from cancer, but I am pleased to have been happily married twice, many don't even get that once in their lifetime. I am the marrying kind, and enjoy being in that sort of a committed relationship.
I am active, I am intense. I have been described as having a personality larger than life, which serves me well in my daily activities. I love having projects to work on, I am an academic, I love playing with words and ideas, I am inquisitive, I am ebullient (apparently), but definitely always happy, and I love living life to the full. I do not suffer fools gladly, neither do I judge, and respond best to a mutually respectful interaction.
I have two sons who married in 2007 and both have presented me with grandchildren Dec 2007 and April 2008, and my youngest son and his partner had a son in August 2008!!. Life is very sweet!
I am an academic, I enjoy 90% of my job, I am a musician, in many guises. I love skyping with my children and grandchildren. i like technology, and have ad an iPhone since they first came out.

With a partner: walk in the fabulous local gardens, followed by a snack and coffee at the local cafe, playing 'footsie' but with hands. Off to a movie, and then dinner, followed by a coffee and his or mine, a time on the sofa, of mutually pleasurable 'interaction' and then home to mutual beds, with promise of things to come.
