Most say I do not look my age. Further, most say they hope they are able to work at my age!
I am a nurse and doctor. Since this is my calling, of great importance to me is someone who understands and shares that faith. I do want to travel more. I travelled throughout the US as a travel nurse but would like to share time with someone special while doing this.
I have an adult son and a teenage lacrosse, football, basketball, and soccer playing grandson who live near Tampa with my daughter-in-law and Aussie-Doodle.
I share home space with my toy poodle who is not quite a year old.
We all moved to Florida recently so my grandson can go to University of Tampa.
As you might guess, at my core value is my family. My other first value is loyalty to and worship of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Since "religion" is man-made, I do not profess a certain place of worship. While raise as Southern Baptist, I am first and foremost a Christian. I do believe that God created man to be the head of the household--no matter how small or large the family. This means that the man in my life must also follow that premise.
Now all that being said, for fun I love to cook, garden, and read. I enjoy the old sitcoms on television, as well as the more recent Big Bang Theory. I try to watch Colombo, Perry Mason and Diagnosis Murder when I can. On the big screen, I enjoy comedies more than drama. Having work formerly in theatre, so I do enjoy Broadway shows and stand-up. I really enjoy dining out.
With the current events, safety is paramount and takes precedence over fun.
I have never been on a cruise and have that on my bucket list when we are able to do that again. I have been to Germany and Australia, so I can carry a great conversation!
Since I am a lady, I prefer a gentleman. I so enjoy being a lady!
I have no major hang-ups or phobias. I do, however, shy away fro abusiveness--verbal, emotional, or physical. I do not feel I should tolerate what I do not deserve and as a human being, I--as all--deserve respect just for breathing air.
