Letting God Write My Love Story

Ik beschrijf mezelf als:

They say you'll never know whether or not something will work unless you try it, so here's my leap of faith. I'm handing the pen of my love story over to the Lord and allowing Him to write it this time. After all, He is the author of romance. Who better to write a beautiful story?

First of all, I can be absolutely silly and random...I'm a self proclaimed dork...but I have a serious side that loves deep and intellectual conversation, too! :)

My desire is to be in and know God's will and for Him to guide my steps in all areas. I'm not looking for, nor do I want to be, yet another rough draft. I'm not interested in casual dating or flings or for just another long term relationship. At the same time, I'm in no hurry to get married. I want what the Lord wants for me...whatever that may be. :)

My relationship with Christ started when I was a little girl but wasn't always my focus growing up. In the last few years I have discovered a deeper, more intimate relationship with Christ that is so sweet, so precious, that it has become the most important aspect of my life. If it weren't for His love and patience with me, I don't know where I'd be today. I've witnessed His hand and seen His miracles, and I am undeniably His.

My desire is for a man who puts God first in His life, who knows he's imperfect but continuously seeks spiritual growth. I am strong in my faith and I desire a man who is spiritually mature enough to lead me as my husband. Integrity is one of the most important characteristics to me, and I also happen to think it's one of the most attractive. I want a man who I can respect, honor, and be proud of because I know he's a man who values truth and honors his word. He must be slow to anger and quick to forgive, and ready and able to allow someone into his heart when God moves him to do so. I know these kinds of relationships take time, so I'm looking for a foundation of friendship to build on.

I LOVE meeting new people and really enjoy trying new things, and seek a man who has a bit of an adventurous spirit about him. It's one thing to be shy at first, but it's another if you rarely come out of your shell.

Laughter is a huge part of what makes me who I am. If you're unable to laugh at yourself, you're missing out! I'm a strong woman with a tender loving heart that is bent toward the Lord, and I am seeking my best friend. Someone who makes me laugh, who smiles with his whole self...their smile always reaches their eyes.

I'm a half glass full kind of woman, always looking forward to the future experiences, both good and bad, and enjoying each and every day I'm blessed with. We learn through our struggles. Growth happens in the fire. I prefer optimism to pessimism. Character and integrity over good looks. I love meeting new people and discovering what makes them unique. I find joy in the simplest things. I LOVE to cook. I am aware of my good traits and humble regarding my shortcomings. I can be a little stubborn and passionate when it comes to something I believe in, but I'm not a fighter and I know to admit when I'm wrong. I've learned that communication is key and trust is essential. My family and friends mean so much to me. They make life sweeter.

I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a best friend, an aunt, a musician, a writer, a dreamer, a singer, a traveler, but most of all I try to be a good person who loves with her whole heart.
