Anything that will find us both able to relax, be comfortable to communicate without interruption, and be fun for us both as well. That could be an activity date like a bike ride in a popular area with a back pack picnic on board; could be a sunset beach comb, and torchlight dinner nearby; could be a morning stretch class, then off to order 2 breakfasts to share while we chat; might be a quick drive to the local hospital or senior center to perpetrate random acts of kindness on sick kids or elderly, maybe learn who hasn't had any visitors and bring 'em flowers. Life is to be lived...and shared!

Wat ik altijd al eens heb willen proberen:

Now that I am starting the second half of my life, I am going to get my pilot's license and fly some. I would also like to take some dance lessons after I have met the new(and final!) love of my life, if she is up for that. Another plan is to arrive at a level of retirement that will allow us to take a sum of extra money and deliver it to a mission effort, then stay on for a bit to work at whatever the Lord has us helping in. I want to enjoy life, but work at helping others along the way.

This is perhaps best answered by thinking of what you want said of you at your funeral. I would like to be remembered for the way I showed my love. Love of God, love of spouse and life partner, love of family and friends, and how I tried to shine God's love for me out into this dark and hurting world we live in. That would be a wonderful commentary on life, don't you think?

Mijn Idee Van Plezier is

I would enjoy anything that we are both up for. I love to be outside and active, from a good inline skate workout to a good run (maybe both if you are a fitness nut!) or just a quiet walk-n-talk. I love the beach, so a walk there is big plus. I also love to fly stunt kites. If we are connecting and enjoying time together, it doesn't much matter to me what we are doin'...ok, maybe we could skip the shoes shopping! I bet we could come up with all kinds of things we would both enjoy, so no time together would be boring!

Since I am not yet single, I am only open to communicating as a friend at this time. When this process is final in a few months, then I will be looking for someone who is very compatible with who I am. I have spent many years in a relationship that was mostly about pleasing her, so now I will want a relationship where we both are important and loved and special to each other. I haven't felt loved in a LONG time, so I look forward to finding the lady God intends to share in the rest of this life with me. We will have fun, praise and worship our Lord together, have a wonderful love life in and out of the bedroom, we will smile each day and thank God for the blessings He has showered on us, including each other. Life can be as much or as little as we make it, and I intend to make it count.
