So here we go…if I leave anything out that you would like to know, send me a message and ask away.
A little bit about me:
Well my name is Karen; I was born and raised in North Carolina. I’ve been in the Navy for over 11 years; I spent 5 years in Jacksonville and the rest here in VA. While in Florida I became an EMT and firefighter and earned my associate’s degree. Now I am 2 classes from a bachelor’s in Homeland Security… I will be starting those classes in January and will graduate at the end of February… I have an amazing son who never ceases to entertain me; he will be 3 on February 28th.
What I am into:
Well first and most importantly, I am a born again Christian. Joyce Meyer is my favorite person to watch and my favorite author to read. I would rather listen to music than watch television any day, it seems as though there is a song to match any mood and some songs are a great way to express what you want to say when you just can’t say or don’t want to say the words yourself. I love sports, both playing and watching. I play volleyball, basketball and softball and I like to watch football, college basketball and baseball. I am a Denver Broncos, Wake Forest or Duke, and Texas Rangers fan. I like to watch movies on occasion, they are a great way to lose yourself and relax, I typically watch Romantic Comedies such as; He’s Just Not That Into You, The Proposal and Bridget Jones. (I know, so girlie and predictable!)
My personality traits:
My friends would say that I am one of the most fun-loving, energetic and loving people anyone could ever meet. I love affection; just the simple things like a wink, touch of the hand or a well placed note can really make a HUGE difference. I do all I can to ensure that that special someone knows that they are truly special.
A little bit about the man I am seeking:
The man I am seeking must love God and follow His plan, it is important that we be “equally yoked”. He must be able to accept affection and be willing to understand that as a single mom, who works very hard and goes to college I may not have a lot of time but believe me, I will not use that as an excuse for not letting you know that I care or that you are an amazing person. Finally the man I am seeking needs to be looking for something serious and not just on here to find a hook up or fling, I am serious about being a loving, loyal and supportive wife to the man that God has out there for me. Will I meet him on here, I don’t know but I guess it is worth a shot.
