Spent most of my time in Grapevine, TX. I was blessed to know many older women who taught me about being a Proverbs 31, Titus 2 woman; and a servant for Christ. I'm sure they are waiting --- right behind Jesus at the gate for me. Lived in the West Indies for a few years - a humbling experience. Traveled the entire Carribbean. The people there have a way of responding to their poverty - they say "We have little, BUT God is in all. Reality is perception so... I'm a really really funny cool mom - who never embarasses her children in public on purpose. Aside from that: God, family, football - NOT necessarily in that order during football season (bad mommy!). I love being mommy. I am more than blessed to have children that are caring and compassionate. They surprise me all the time. Emily is 14 and twins are 11. I have many many more children for whom I am a STEP-IN parent. I spent the last 2 years cooking every Wednesday night at church to make sure they were being fed physically as well as spiritually, and encouraged to keep walking with God. They also mean the world to me too. I love sunrises and sunsets, oceans and mountains, traveling near or far. LOW LOW maintenance - a coke and 25 cent bag of cheetos and I'm good to go. Proud to be an American (especially after living and see many other countries) and glad to be a native Texan - yeah, being born in El Paso still counts! HA HA.. American by birth, southern by the grace of God.

Wow - I can have fun doing just about anything. Love nature and being outside Laughing with family and friends makes the best lasting memories. Conversations that go beyond "what's your fav color, music. I love to know why people think the way they do. Your failures tell me way more than your successes do.

I have made the decision not to date until my children are grown. They'er in middle school now, so I am just looking for someone to chat with, or agree together in prayer for our childrens needs.
