33 year old; brunette gone blonde, outgoing, fun, kind, Godly. Have been a christian for only five years, and have been single and celibate for that time (by choice). Decided that 2009 is time to get out there and meet people outside my usual circle of influence. Led the Ladies Ministry at my church over the past 18 months and therefore did not find it appropriate to date anyone who went to my church. I don't go out a whole lot, I think I have been working a bit too hard, but plan to change that into 2009. I am a bit wild and zany, curvy and a bit 'out there'. My man will have to love me as I am as I don't see those things changing any time soon. I love to laugh and have deep intellectual chats about stuff. I am a good conversationalist and get along with almost anyone. I am half irish, half afrkiaans in descent, so a caucasian, typical south african guy would be ideal. I don't date guys older than 35, and won't go younger than 29. I find men over 35 melancholic and chivalry has definately died to that generation. I like men who are taller than 1.8 metres, with nice broad shoulders and arm muscles. Blue eyes are a winner! I can look after myself very well and have been through a lot in life. I am not innocent and naive I am afraid, so if you are looking for a sweet, innocent girl, you are in the wroing place. I have a lot of character and 'saltiness'. I am extremely passionate. I read sometimes, watch movies sometimes, love to have people over and do the hospitality thing (strong gift), know a lot of people although don't have too many close friends, have firm opinions on certain topics, usually centred around principles and moral conviction, looking good and feeling confident is important to me. I bleach my hair skrik-blonde and wear extensions - just so you don't get a fright when you meet me :-). I have done some scuba diving and would love to do a bit more travelling into 2009. I consult to the insurance industry doing audits and own a Property Rentals Agency in Edenvale. I appreciate the freedom of working for myself, but need to take care to manage my stress levels, so my man will have to keep me in check on that. I am passionate and determined. I have come to accept myself as I am and don't view myself as someone with too many issues. Spent 3.5 years doing counselling as a ministry at church prior to leading the Ladies and underwent a lot of counselling then too. You can say I view myself as being 'emotionally whole'. Character traits I would like my man to have is: kind, outgoing, truly and radically saved, a family man, responsible and willing to put up with me I suppose :-). See you soon!

Now, it is to find a partner to carry on life's journey with. I think I am well established, and have realised the value of being under a husband's protection in every circumstance in the past year.
