I dislike modern hi-tech gadgetry - I have a mobile phone but never use it (come to think of it, I don't even know where it is). I enjoy having a go at things I should employ a professional to do i.e. putting shelves, drilling things, tiling, stone-walling etc. So far nothing has collapsed - praise be to God! I would like to become a competent bee keeper, plant a forest and grow lots of my own food but so far can't find the time to indulge these particular pastimes. Hobbies include painting, sewing and I will often be found with my nose in a book. I love watching anything that stimulates the grey matter such as historically accurate films, documentaries etc. I work in the hospitality industry and meet lots of nice people, as well as a few that are a little harder to love.
