I volunteer 2 days a week at a local homeless shelter for women and children and work there every other weekend and as a relief night manager and find that so rewarding to be able to give back to the community and help those who are down on their luck at the time. When I get a card or thank you note from someone who I helped get back on their feet makes my job so rewarding. I am a very caring and devoted person to those special in my life. I am the type of person that would take off the shirt on my back if you needed it. Some of my friends tell me that I am too nice for my own good. The schools in Texas are so much better than here and she gets a much better education which is very important. I also have my 4 legged members of my family they are poms.
