I seek to make Jesus and His Kingdom #1 in every area of my life. My record of success is spotty, at best. Thank God that His grace is sufficient, and that His love covers a multitude of sins!

I sing and play guitar and bass, and playing on the worship team at my church brings me much joy and fulfillment. My musical life began early, experimenting on the old upright piano in our house, then later I took up cello for a number of years. Music is very important to me, both playing and listening.

I'm sincere, honest and a deep thinker, but also have an easy laugh and a good, and sometimes off-kilter, sense of humor. I believe laughter keeps us sane. The art of listening is vanishing, but I have been told I'm good at it. I always enjoy a good conversation. I try to empathize with others, and I've been told I make a very good friend :) I love the outdoors and nature, learning and discovery, and being spontaneous. I'm dad (not biologically) to two annoyingly adorable cats :)
