Me describiría a mi mismo como
Peculiar in the eyes of most Western-Believers because i do NOT practice loose/compromisable faith...I am YAHUWAHn (Messianic) – meaning: I approach my Christian Faith from an Abri’Yah (Hebrew/Jewish) interpretation [i.e. – Church tradition does NOT trump Scripture – EVER!]…if any Theology/Philosophy ever contradicts or does not harmonize with the perfect Torah/Tanakk/Logos of BOTH “Old” & “New” testaments, then they are to be shunned – not the people with those “ideologies”, but their “version of” Truth/Holiness only – for LOVE is transcendent over disagreement, but not over conviction/Truth.
I am the type of person who typically treats all human beings with equal respect (aside from being a bit more respectful to my elders), but will also be the person who, when prompted by Yashuah’s Holy Spirit, will tell you the truth with brutal honesty…this sometimes gets me into trouble &/or alienates me from others because the modern world is not a friend to conviction or truth – or so it appears from my traditional/conservative/old-school perspective.
I am complete in my relationship with Yashuah The Messiah (Jesus Christ), but I would enjoy a “life partner” (wife) to share it with…because I’ve heard, more than a few times, that behind every great/successful “man-of-Yah (G-d)” is a devout & supportive “woman-of-Yah”…so you tell me, after having read this far, could you possibly be that modern day Proverbs 31 woman? & if you think all this text has been T.M.I. or has too many BIG WORDS then let me clarify – 1st) my name is spelled TIM not TMI…2nd) if the words are too BIG or too MANY – then consider that we may not be compatible.
If we disagree on a particular subject, then we should reason together as to why we are seeing Scripture differently by examining SCRIPTURE together…if your response to that is “different strokes for different folks” or “we can agree to disagree” or “is it really that important” or “apples & oranges” or “black & white look gray to me” then I assure you we would never be of like mind or equally yoked…I am open minded to an extent, but my theological convictions (Biblical Knowledge) can be exponentially unmovable until you can reason with me to the extent of showing me my error – then I will almost immediately adopt your perspective…but I also would expect the same from you.
SIDE NOTE: i lived in Seoul, Korea my last 3 yrs of High School, so if you know how to make Kimchee & Bulgogi, then you already have brownie point with me!!!
