I have been on several secular dating sites for years now and it's just not going well. I recently read "An Unlikely Disciple: A Sinner's Semester at America's Holiest University" and it really got me thinking about the kind of man I am looking for.

I was raised in a very Christian home and while I have certainly wandered from the nest regarding faith, I can feel myself craving God.

My beliefs are very liberal when it comes to Christianity. I subscribe to the God is Love way of thinking. So if you have serious right-wing political agendas and consider yourself intolerant of anything that doesn't fit into your preconceived notion of Christianity... we probably will not get along. I have little interest in the personal lives of others and try not to judge anyone for their personal choices. HOWEVER (and this may sound odd) I have had success dating 'conservative leaning' men who maintain a sense of disapproval (rather than hate) for what they don't agree with.

I am a huge fan of sarcastic, quick-witted banter, and fast-paced conversation. I am very competitive and like teasing in a playful way. I can sometimes be offensive without meaning to be. If you know who Psalty is you probably rock... I have all of these hilarious (and kind of disturbing) memories of the Christian kid's shows my parents entertained me with when I was young and meeting others from the same background always thrills me.

I am trying to get to a point where I live up to my name. I was named for I Corinthians 13 and it is my goal to someday be this Charity. Til then I am just myself. I just moved here from Las Vegas, NV and I would very much like to meet some great people and join a good church. My only days off are Wednesday and Thursday though, so options seem kind of limited.

Also, I am a single mother of a one year old boy named Talon, so if you aren't interested in single moms... keep looking.

I have a natural propensity for tall, dorky white guys who might look a little goofy. For me, it's all about personality.
