I've been Episcopalian all my life, but recently have been introduced to an evangelical church that I am enjoying very much and feel is a much better "fit" for me. I'm easy-going, fairly intelligent, curious (as in wanting to learn), optimistic and up-beat, love to smile a lot and am a pretty happy person. I am a bit shy, but after I get to know you, I'll talk more. I love animals (live with 2 cats) am creative in several areas and like to keep my brain active. I'm a hard-worker and very dependable. I'm loyal and if you're a friend of mine, it's been for years. I'm compassionate and tender hearted. The things I dislike the most are abuse of any kind and negative attitudes. Ideally, I'd like someone who I could worship with regularly and hopefully would like to relocate to nearby. My job keeps me locked in here and since I'm close to retirement, it would be foolish for me to try and transfer.
I don't know how much more description to put...I think I'm a pretty good person and just want a good man to share this next half of my life with.

Dinner some place nice, but not loud. Afterwards maybe a walk on one of the local piers where we can look out over the water and talk about our dreams.

Hmmm; not sure about "trying" something; I've always wanted to go visit Greece and also Stonehenge. I guess I'd like to "try" a cruise; never have been on one.

Integrity, honesty, openess, sense of humor, compassion, respect, loyalty...a good person! A non-smoker. A social or non-drinker. Someone who likes some of the same things I do. A cat lover would be nice. Someone with at least some college or if not; at least be able to put together a sentence and spell fairly well! Sorry, but I do judge a person by how much effort he puts into trying to paint a picture of himself...those first impressions are important!
