First and foremost, God is my everything. My two boys come second.I am a single-mother and I would not be able to raise my children without Him.I strive daily to do my best for my Jesus - reading my Bible/devotionals and talking to Him all day long and I try to treat others the way that God asks me to. I am terribly imperfect but it is God's grace that allows me to be forgiven.



I like to think that I am a positive person, (for example, often we are in a boat on rough seas in the storms of life, but over the high waves and through the high winds, I can always see Jesus on the shore and hear Him telling me "Do not be afraid") and I always tend to see the glass as half-full as opposed to half-empty. I love people and always seem to find compassion for them. I tend to be brutally honest.But I'm a good listener and have an empathetic personality. I love to laugh and I tend to have an odd sense of humor.

I tend to be a homebody, but I am confortable with my own company. It's just that there are too many things that I see or do that would certainly be more meaningful if I had someone to share those things with.

I am searching for a man who is comfortable within himself, who loves the Lord and is a practicing Christian. If we have different religions, that's okay, as long as we have the same faith in the same God.

Any place can be considered a "first date" - however, I think that "coffee dates" make it easier to talk and get to know one another initially. But places that allow for conversation AND fun are helpful too - for example - think about this: would you rather go and sit in a coffe shop and talk (nervously) or go play a game of Goofy Golf and talk and laugh at the same time?

Everything is fun! Standing in line at the grocery store can be fun with the right person! I enjoy most things outdoors, playing boardgames, dancing, Goofy Golf, bowling, picnics, bike rides on the Greenway, church functions, watching a movie at the drive-in theatre, fleam markets, garage sales, fairs, city/county events, plays (either at the local playhouse or TPAC), and overnight "road trips" that are unplanned are always loads of fun and anything else that involves laughter, and making memories!

I look for a man who loved God and is not ashamed to live it. Someone who likes to laugh, and who doesn't take themselves too seriously. And someone who is devout, kind, compassionate, doesn't judge and mostly, thoughtful and a good listener.
