Friends typically describe me as a laid back kind of guy, but there are definitely things I can be intense and passionate about, such as my faith, family, friends, music, etc. I also perhaps go against the stereotypical image of males, in the sense that I really enjoy romance, i.e. holding hands, cuddling, sweet kisses, just holding each other, and so on. I'm a people person and love getting to know new people. I love to laugh and make others laugh. My profession is also my main hobby -- music. I'm a music teacher and a freelance musician, and I serve as a worship leader at my church. I really love seeing how God draws people to Himself -- and builds up our faith -- through the arts. What an incredible gift He's given to us in that regard.

I think it would have to be something with less activity, and more face-to-face time. On a first date, I want to get to know the person, so I'd typically rather talk over dinner or coffee, as opposed to sitting next to each other staring at a movie screen, or doing some real involved activity. On the second date, we can do all that other stuff...

Ho sempre voluto provare

Hmmm, good question. I'm open to suggestions. I'm probably supposed to say something here like "sky diving, " or "bungee jumping." But, um, not so much! Again, I've always wanted to go to Europe, which doesn't really fall under the classification of "trying" something, but I'll stick with that for now. Maybe I'll think of something more interesting later on (gosh, the pressure of these questions is getting to me!).

La mia idea di divertimento è

I guess I'm a kid at heart. I love going to Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios, water parks. I love the excitement of big cities, like New York, Chicago (haven't been to Europe yet, but I would love to put Paris and Rome on that list!). I also enjoy going to the mountains, hiking, playing in the snow, sight-seeing, wading through a creek... I enjoy a night with friends, good conversation, laughing a lot, playing games. But I can kick back, too. I like walking along a beach (or lying on the beach), camping, and just vegging out in front of the TV.

Cosa cerchi?

I don't really have a list of things in mind that my "ideal" partner should have. I suppose there are some "preferences, " though. I'm definitely attracted to a great sense of humor. Confidence is another important quality. This doesn't mean you have to be the life of the party, but I would hope you're comfortable enough with yourself to be able to relax around others, and just be yourself. There should also be a fairly similar level of intelligence. As far as looks are concerned, sure, there's a certain need to be with someone you find attractive, but I don't care if you're blonde, brunette, redhead, tall, short, etc. The only things I notice physically right away are if someone smiles freely, and if they look like they care enough to take care of themselves, i.e., they've brushed their hair and their teeth, they wear clothes that match...OK, seriously, I do like a good smile, nice eyes, someone who's reasonably fit, etc. Other than that, you just have to make me laugh.
