Basic Information
I Would Describe Myself As
I like to live life to it's fullest, in order of priority, God, Family, Work, Friends. God is my compass in life and I follow his word and direction.
I enjoy being active and involved. I am a free spirit and fairly unpredictable but very dependable and loyal. I love to laugh and share my life with my family and friends. I have a giving forgiving spirit but don't like to be taken advantage of. I give my all to everything I do. I don't take anything less than perfection well, which is probably one of my downfalls. I am secure in myself, who I am and where I am going. I am very sensitive but very strong (not by choice). I never wanted to learn to be strong but apparently God has a different plan for me. I am a lady but I have a wild streak, my sense of humor may be off balance, I love dressing up and dressing down. I always talk to strangers, I am very competitive, I have lived in the country and the city, I get annoyed at people who drive in the left lane going slow, I love to eat but don't like to cook, I am stubborn and hard headed, I like to help others, I count my blessings and appreciate everything that God has given me and I AM BLESSED!
I am currently going to the Vineyard church in the Northland of KC. It's different than the traditional churches that I am used to and believe I have finally found my spiritual home. (It took me awhile getting used to wearing jeans to church and drinking coffee during the sermon but I must say, it fits my lifestyle and I am all for making God accessible and comfortable for everyone).
As far as my spiritual evolution, I was brought up in a Christian home and have always known God and his love. However, I have not always been as faithful to God as he has been to me. God's grace is the greatest gift I've ever received and I am so thankful for it.
I have two boys, 15 and 12. I am working hard at raising them to become good men with God central to their lives. My boys come before anything other than God. They need me and I am only going to be influencing their lives a few more years, so I intend to give them everything I can.
I am not really sure what I am looking for in a relationship. I have no predisposition on who or what I am looking for; I trust God has a match for me and I am open to his will.
I was married for fifteen years and dating is not something I really know how to do. I am extroverted but don't expect that in a relationship; I think I may be cautious in that arena. At this point, I am looking to enjoy the companionship of another Christian with common interests. Of course, if things evolve, that would be great but I am happy to be alone until I find the right person. I don't have any expectations, only honesty, desire to do the right thing and a man who puts God in the driver's seat. I don't settle and I want it all...what does that mean?...I want a man who I can share good times and bad times, who appreciates me, a man who I can give of myself to completely, passion for a lifetime, knowing and sharing the deepest thoughts and feelings, someone who is confident, strong of heart and has integrity, a person who can see me for who I am and loves me anyway :), someone who I can learn from and grow with, a man who is proud to be with me and who I can build up and support, a team, blah, blah, blah...
I am an HR Manager and love my job. I have recently changed employers and the job takes a lot of my time. I work hard and am dedicated to succeeding in my career. I am very ambitious.
For fun, I like to put the top of my convertible down and turn my music up and drive fast. I skydive regularly, scuba dive, I love to travel, love fine dining, being outside, water sports, snow skiing...just love being out and about. I am no homebody; although I enjoy coming home and just hanging out with my boys.
