I think it would be nice to have a gentleman "very best friend" again... , like go somewhere and/or do things together, then you go to your house and I go to mine. Someone approximately my own age: (like 69-83). A man of integrity. Someone who remembers that his rights stop where they start infringing on mine. An active Christian. I was born in 1931; in Rotterdam, Holland, into a Christian family. My parents were an exceptional example for me. I am an active participant in my church(Pentecostal); I regularly (most often: daily) work out in the gym. I seem to frequently amuse the people around me; I think that I have a good sense of humor. I am reasonably well educated. I have been having osteo-arthritis for some years; had both knees replaced, from which I made a remarkable re-covery. I have done a fair bit of travel in my younger years (between Land's End and Istanbul), and later on in Canada by train from Halifax to Vancouver (1959); and again Vancouver to Montreal to Vancouver. Did a bit of travel in the USA. I have lived in cities, as well as 35 years in the boondocks, in Canada. I loved both environ-ments. Although I liked travel, I have done it while I was young enough to enjoy it; now I don't NEED it anymore and just as soon stick to my comfort zone, rather than be stuck in some airport. I am not a leader, but if and when I accept someone as my leader, I am a dedicated and loyal follower. I have never done illegal drugs; my desire for alcohol is negligible; I quit smoking in 1962; and I don't think that I have any emotional baggage. I have a cheery, positive attitude.
