Well let’s see ……. I’m not big on these self-analysis things but here goes. I have been divorced for 7 yrs. and we both have moved on. I am new on here. I have a friend who met his wife online, so I guess it can work. I have a teenage daughter, and my life revolves around her . Family is my priority, then my job, not the other way around. I LOVE being a Dad more than anything in this world so, I welcome a lady with kids, as long as they aren’t spoiled brats because no one ever put in the effort to discipline them. It’s not the fun part of parenting, but it is necessary. I tend to be that Goofy playful Dad type, but humor is everything and what is better than hearing children laughing ? It’s like Jogging for the Soul !
My daughter has been pushing me to get back into the dating pool, but I’m hesitant. I haven’t been on a date in a couple years, so if you like the “Uptown Playboy” type, I surely am not your guy. You women are WAY to complicated to try dating more than 1 at a time. I would even consider having more children with the right lady. My daughter recently asked me if I wish I had more children, I told her if they could be like her, I would do that in a heartbeat. She amazes me every day. I am her biggest Cheerleader, and I am “that Dad” at the Booster meetings, and the Dad that builds the Homecoming Float every year. I go to every Football Game (High School). If you have children I will be as active with them as you will allow. I understand it is a package deal, just as it is with me and my daughter.
I'm not a sports freak, but do enjoy some games like "Da Boys" and I love NFL Football . I like to BBQ and hang with friends. I love to entertain, and I’m very social and outgoing. I like going outside but I also like to curl up with you, and a bowl of popcorn and watch a movie.
I am Spiritual and I try to attend Church on a regular basis. Belief in God, and the Love of Jesus our Savior is important to me. I occasionally sing and Usher at my Church in Carrollton. Similar belief is important to me.
I’m an Insurance Claims Adjuster, and I find it very rewarding to be there to help other people when a catastrophe has impacted their lives. I have a strong "Dad" complex to help others in need. Helping others when in need can be so fulfilling. It gives me the opportunity to give back to others and to appreciate my own blessings. I do travel a little with this type work. When not Adjusting, I work for a friend that does Build-back Construction for the Insurance Companies. If you like a guy that is Handy and can do anything around the house, that is definitely me, but I want you there beside me, not on the sofa eating bon-bons watching Dr. Phil. I want a lady that loves to throw on a pair of jeans, put her hair in a ponytail or ball cap, and go work outside on building something. I want to say.... Hey, lets go add to the deck, or build a Gazebo, and she is by my side, AND ENJOYS helping, not just being a spectator that brings me a bottle of water, then goes back inside.
If you’re interested send me and email or IM, because I may not renew my subscription. I am not desperate for a girlfriend but I do welcome the prospect. I miss being a Husband, and in time , would consider marriage again, with the right Lady.
