My first name means "helper of mankind." I have always fit that description well. I enjoy helping people, whether its a friend, a boss, someone I just met at Wal-Mart, or a child that's been abused. People describe me as having a big heart. Maybe my heart is too big but I get so much joy from being able to help people.

I especially love children. They bring laughter into our lives and laughter is so necessary. I have three grown daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. My grandchildren are the sparkle in my eyes. Children are gifts from God. My grandchildren make me feel young, special, loved.

Can we go to the beach? Huh? Huh? Pleeaassseeee!! I'm not a sunbather but I really enjoy long walks along the water's edge at dusk. Sitting in a little cafe watching the lights reflect on the water at night. Drinking margaritas as we look deeply into each other's eyes. Will you show me some of your favorite places to travel? And I can show you mine. Do you like the mountains? The plains? East Coast or West Coast?

I enjoy eating out and dining in. Boiled shrimp and crawfish, cheese enchiladas, and pulled pork are some of my favorite foods. I'd like to cook with you. Talking and laughing as we follow the directions. Comfortable with each other. Dining by candlelight. Stimulating conversation.

Meeting for a late lunch on a Saturday and taking out time talking, getting to know each other, and eating. Then heading to the French Quarter to walk around and see the sights, ending up at Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets in the late evening. My date being a total gentleman and walking me to my car, a sweet smile, a gentle kiss, and a promise to call me tomorrow.

Heading to the beach with a group of friends for the weekend. During the cool fall/winter months, we hang out and talk, play board games, and cook together with the doors and windows open to our condos, listening to the waves crash on the beach. Just enjoying life and good fellowship.
