I am looking for friendship to begin with, and I know friendship can lead to a vast realm of possibilities. I would like to believe that God has someone out there for me and eventually I will find him. I am not in a hurry, I believe everything should be left in God's hands and His timing. However, when this special person does come into my life, this someone will be a Christian, value the important things in life, and realize how important honesty and trust is in a relationship. I am not into games, so if you are, do not contact me. If you do not stand by your "word" do not contact me. The man who would catch my eye is someone who clearly demonstrates compassion for others including animals. He will enjoy the simple things in life. He is happy going out or staying home. He is not a couch potato! Even if he is not daring and does not like to do things that are somewhat thrilling (e.g., roller-coasters), he will still enjoy going with me and watching as he safely keeps his feet planted on the ground He will love family. He will enjoy being around family and friends, and of course he MUST love dogs Finally, the man who captures my heart will NOT smoke!

A little about me. As I stated earlier, I am not into games. I enjoy being around my children and grandchildren, and doing things with them. However, I also want that alone time with that someone special. I am loyal, resourceful, and responsible. As far as patience, well I could improve in that area somewhat ... LOL. I am independent, have a sense of self-sufficiency, and I am cautious. I am not afraid of change, and I embrace challenges. I can be romantic when I am with the right man. Plus, it is the little things a man can do to show how he feels about me that will capture my heart and interest. Just so you know, I was involved in animal rescue for years, I have kept some of the dogs I rescued, and yes, these pups are important to me! As a final note, I am a pastor's daughter, I grew up in church, and God is definitely very important to me.
