I Would Describe Myself As

If you are over 30 and haven't been living in a cave, you've been hurt at least once. We all have, but with the Grace of God we eventually pick up the pieces and move on with life. Scary? Yes! But life is full of risks, good and bad. If your story sounds something like the above, the we might have something to talk about.

I am a family and faith oriented woman, testing the water to see if there might be one more chance for true love and happiness. I am searching for the man who wants to spend the rest of his life with his best friend, companion, lover and maybe wife. Must be family oriented. Honesty,integrity, trusting and trust worthy, loving, affectionate and not afraid to show his love for his "special someone" in public. I want a man with a "slow hand and an easy touch", who is looking for along term possibly permanent relationship. Must be committed to his best friend and life companion (preferably the same person), but isn't on the fast track to find his perfect someone. I don't think you can do that on-line, but it's a starting point. I believe lasting relationships begin slowly as friends, and let the relationship develop at it's own pace.

I am happiest when I am with my children and grandchildren. Truly hoping to retire in 2015 and start spending more time traveling and spending time with my children and grandchildren. My perfect world would include family gatherings, family dinners, holidays spent together, and perhaps and occasional family vacation. BUT, more importantly a lot of time enjoying being with the love of my life.

I have recently returned to the religion I was raised in and have found more peace in the last six months than I have felt in the last several years. My "perfect" companion would share my beliefs and attend church regularly. I love to travel by air and road trips. Sadly, I have not traveled as much as I would like, but hopefully that will change soon. Not interest in traveling out of country at this time with all of the unrest in the world. I favorite pass times are reading, long walks, walking in the rain, long, easy conversations with my companion. I enjoy going out to dinner, movies and theater; but,I'm just as happy staying home and enjoying peaceful, relaxing evenings with my special partner in life, sharing sweet, romantic moments.
I do not and have never smoked. I enjoy drinking wine occasionally. I am not interested in playing games past that stage a LONG time ago. I am looking for a loving, long term relationship, possibly leading to marriage. I am looking forward to what the future may bring, and pray that God will grant me one more companion in this life.
