I Would Describe Myself As
My relationship with Christ comes first. Family is very important to me and I am thankful for the close relationships I have with my family. I love being outdoors, no matter what season. Although in the cold winter months a nice cozy fireplace with a good book or movie to watch is nice. I love working in kids ministry and being able to be a part of the body of Christ in such an amazing way. I love to camp, hike, ski, kayak, and explore nature. I also love music, I enjoy going to the theatre and I enjoy the arts. I like to sing and play piano. I’m slowly learning guitar.
I have always wanted to have my own family and it just hasn’t happened yet. I trust God’s timing and hope to meet someone who I can share life’s adventures with and have a family with.
Animals are also something I love. I volunteer at a horse riding therapy place and really enjoy being around horses. I like to explore big cities and travel but I also love being out in the country. If I could I would love just a little way out from the city, where I would have a bit of land and could see the stars at night. I enjoy the mountains and being up so high you can see for miles, yet a nice day on the ocean is great too. Overall I am really hoping and praying for a Christ centered relationship that would lead to marriage and a family of my own.
I believe that being a Christian means that you have surrendered your life to Christ, you have repented (and continue to repent) of your sins, acknowledge that you need a savior and Jesus is that Savior. It is not a one time thing it is a heart and life change and following Christ is a lifestyle not a religion. It is a relationship with Christ that should always be growing.
