A personal relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life. Time spent with him has strengthened me, refreshed me; at times, lovingly reprimanded me and kept me focused when life's storms tried to pull me under.

God has blessed me with a creative bent that I enjoy immensely. Some of those creative ventures have included, drawing, painting, sewing, crafting, and decorating.

Music is also a medium I enjoy. I play the guitar and ukulele. Though I have enjoyed some secular music while learning to play the ukulele, I love to sing and play praise and worship music.

My profession is teaching and the certifications I hold are; art, special education and English as a second language. Currently I'm working as a substitute teacher.

Five children kept me busy in my younger days. Now they are all gown. Grandchildren would be nice, but for now I have to be content with grand dogs and grand cats. :)

My politics are conservative and I would not be a good match for someone who is liberal or even considers themselves middle of the road.

The church I attend is a small independent Christian church that is full of good people who also are seeking His will in their lives. I’m depending on God as I continue this adventure in on line dating.
