You’re going to notice my friendly, straight-forward nature right away when you meet me. I’m a light joker and enjoy making those closest to me feel special. So far all of life’s lemons have taught me valuable lessons, and I intend on finding a man who’s also forward-looking and excited for what’s yet to come.

Aside from a huge love family (two grown children and two grandkids!) and Dobermans, you’re going to find that a piece of my heart belongs to football. I grew up with two older brothers, so consider me ready for a good ball game and a cold one (low calorie, of course!).

Other things I hope we can enjoy together: my Southern cooking, long walks along the beach, long talks over coffee, loud music on the radio, encouragement, faithfulness in the Lord and in one another, and a strong and lasting friendship. What else?

The man I’m looking for doesn’t need to take care of me, but wants to. He also wants to find a woman who can offer him the same treatment. He can look me in the eye when he’s talking and doesn’t sugar-coat what needs to be said. He has a good sense of humor about life and he takes pride in his physical, mental and emotional health.

He also talks about his past only as a way to give me an idea of where he is in life, not to show me everything he’s bitter about. He has no loose ends; he’s looking for a commitment with someone. He wants to share laughter, trials and tribulations with a strong woman by his side.
