I Would Describe Myself As
I enjoy the simple things in life, and unhappy with very little. Spending time with the people I love and care about are the most important things in the world to me.
I am just coming out of a marriage of 25 years and tried so hard to hold on, but he was diagnosed with a severe mood disorder and refused to take medicine.
I held on as long as I could, but the verbal abuse that was displayed to our boys, was just too much.
I have 2 wonderful sons that are 22 and 19, they are my sunrise and my sunset.
My mother lives with me in an in-law apartment and I have the privilege of helping her during her elder years ( actually I think I am there myself!).
I love to smile, because it’s contagious and I enjoy helping others and and feeling like I made a difference some how. I love walking on the beach, staring into the ocean, stormy nights and snow storms!!
Christmas is my favorite time of year, because I still feel that magic as I gaze up into the sky.
I would love to say what I am looking for, but really I can’t believe I even went on this website, because technically I am Separated, but still married.
So, my answer would be that I am just looking for someone to talk to, text to, email to, share a friendship and get to know. I have devoted my life for my family and although I have no regrets, I miss having someone to try and make me laugh or think of what I may need. The last five years of my marriage have been exhausting, and as much as I enjoy giving and taking care of everyone, I started to lose myself in the process, and I actually like silly old me!
So, maybe there’s someone out there who also needs to talk, someone who also just got out of a relationship and is not quite ready to step into another one, but willing to open the next chapter ( slowly) of this book called “ Life” .
