My wise friend said, “Honey, run towards Jesus as fast as you can and if someone keeps up, introduce yourself.” I’m a biological mom of two and adoptive mom of 3 adult children. I work as a nurse and love people but I don’t love feeling restricted from sharing the gospel. I would love to make the world a better place one day at a time with a godly gentleman by my side. I love worshiping the Lord and searching the Bible for the answers to life’s many questions. I enjoy many kinds of music but absolutely love worship music. Are you growing in your relationship with Jesus? Tell me about that. When I was 13 I visited a remote medical mission in the mountains of Honduras. Driving past a village I saw a mud hut with no door, a thatched roof and a mud stove. Outside the hut stood a small child who appeared no more than 4 years old, dangerously thin. He wore a filthy, oversized tee shirt and nothing else. His smile, unforgettable. That experience changed my understanding of “enough”. I count my blessings differently because of the perspective I gained from him. My happy place is Near the water surrounded by flowers with a glass of tea and a loving, godly man holding me tight. One day I’d like to open orphanages in places that have no services for abandoned children. I plan to spend my retirement years serving people the world has given up on.
