I am a simple down to earth 52 yr. old Fashion Sicilian Italian. I graduated with an Engineering Technology- Associate of Science degree. I have four beautiful children and five beautiful grandchildren.
When I was young I loved to cook and bake with my Grandma “Chickie” as known by her sisters, and I still love to cook!!! I loved to barbecue with my Grandpa “Willie”, especially on Easter, which is why I still BBQ rain or shine!
I love to have friends over and be a host, along with playing card games – Liverpool rummy, canasta, hearts, pinochle and more. I love to go on hikes, walks, playing volleyball, softball, and bowling. I also love to work out in the yard.
I strongly believe in Chivalry. I believe talking from the heart of trust. I Love to treat a lady as a lady. I believe in a monogamous relationship, starting as friendship is first.
I am very understanding, adaptable in life situation, honest, loyal and trustworthy. I am very Romantic. You can see the feelings of my Heart in the poems I write, which I love to do.
God was always with me, and is my best friend.
What I am looking for in a woman:
A woman who has family values, ethical and takes care of themselves, who with is neat as in lived in - not fanatical neat. A good sense of humor, honest and compassionate and speaks her mind; not a leader but not a follower either. I would like a partner in life.
A woman that likes to window shop, walk around the lake, enjoys tasteful public affection, relax at home, enjoys doing projects together, along with fun banter and light and deep conversations

I would enjoy walking with you hand in hand under the stars, weather it is around the block or along a sandy beach. Softly talking in your ear and laughing together. Letting me protect you with my life. Letting me embrace you and kiss you with love in front of any one.
I want to be able to look into her eyes and touch her soul to mine. Knowing that she will accept my unconditional Love for her. Being with each other through thick and thin - trials and tribulations. Knowing when I fall, she will be there to catch me and trusting me to do the same in her life.
Most of all becoming Best Friends for life.
I would like to share one of my poems with you:
Destiny
High above the sphere where the wind talks to the stars
sails the majestic eagle.
Through the ties of time and turbulence of life,
The eagle thrusts himself with the air combing through
his feathers.
Empty is the sound of the wind without motion,
lonely is the eagle in flight.
Through his translucent eyes there is wonder in his heart and soul.
Where his destiny lies only the Son shall know
with the wind guiding him like the sail of a boat in the open sea.
The reverent sound of his cry beckons his delight
of freedom in the surroundings about him.
