I am fun, sweet, brutally honest and enjoy life. I have a sense of humor and know that laughter gets you through the hard times. The one word that always shows up on my performance reviews is 'integrity '. Change is difficult for me. Probably number one reason why I have worked for the same company for over 21 years. People who know me say that isn't common nowadays. But I see it as finding something that I like and building a career.
My past has made me who I am today. I will never deny my past but have moved on and left those days behind. I have found peace and look forward to sharing my future with that special man who is interested in me. I have two grown and married daughters who are beautiful women inside and out. One of my greatest accomplishments fulfilled. I have four grandchildren who have restored my faith in life and living. I absolutely love being a grandma. I find myself cooking and baking more from scratch thanks to wanting them to experience 'clean' food without the chemicals from processed food. Which takes me to the present.
Presently I am widowed and gave more than my due diligence to a long marriage. I am looking for a long term relationship of mutual respect, communication, and loyalty. All of those qualities I give willingly and then some. I am a simple minded woman and believe that life is too short to be complicated. Been there, done that. I have a lot of life in me so I expect round 2 to be smooth sailing. A few choppy waters is to be expected, but thats life. Im a plain jane type lady that will play in the dirt gardening but will clean up and lightly add a little makeup to accentuate my eyes and lips for an evening out. I enjoy back road rides to a 'hole in the wall' place in "them there back woods". Maybe a picnic in the park by a lake on the way. I do work and take care of myself. I still want to share a lifetime of joys with that special person. I do have added weight due to the many years that I lacked confidence and self esteem in myself. My eating habits are much healthier but I am still a Texan through and through so of course, I will splurge and cook homemade gravy, and potatoes along with steak, or the choice of my partner. As long as I add those healthy greens and veggies, 😉 it makes it all okay. Anyway, now that I bored you to tears, if you would like to know more about me, just let me know.
