I have been Deacon & Head Deacon of my local church here in Stevenage for some time. Now while my mother is in the Elizabeth House Care Home in Welwyn Garden City I am attending the SDA Church in Welwyn, so that I may visit her after church. One of my duties as a Deacon as well as Head Deacon is to visit the sick and anyone that hasn’t been to church for a while to see if they are Ok. Sometimes it is a female member and I am supposed to have a Deaconess to go with me because of the regulations of citizen rights. But also as we don’t have our own building to worship in we are not able to have pot luck lunch at the church every week before the afternoon program, so we go to each other’s homes only I am one that does most of his cooking in a microwave so end up going to other houses each week. So not only am I looking for my best friend, soul mate lover and wife, but for true love and my second half. I am also looking for someone who will help me visit those in the church community that are sick or haven’t been to church for a while, and I am looking for someone who likes cooking so we can have people to our house for lunch on Sabbaths (Saturday). However, when we do eventually get our own church building we intend to run a soup kitchen for the homeless during the week so the kitchen at church will be put to good use. What it boils down to is that I want someone that is god fearing, truthful, kind, considerate, loving, loyal not going of with someone else when they get fed up with being with an old man, someone who is honest and able to give as well as receive TLC.
