Writing one's own description is not the most comfortable of tasks but is essential in catching another's attention, so I'll try my best. I'm a good friend, attractive, good listener, considerate, passionate, intelligent, loving, affectionate, down-to-earth, love the outdoors, like jeans a lot but dressing up as well, funny, honest, and faithful... or so I've been told. I'd like to meet a man who shares the same qualities and who believes that the best is yet to come. The things I appreciate most in a partner are honesty, a strong faith and personal relationship in Christ, a good sense of humor, and a joy for all that life has to offer. My partner would be a help-mate as well as a leader, and someone who respects themselves as well as my individuality. With life's loves and losses I feel I may have a grasp of what the essentials of a lasting relationship are... being best friends (first), having tons of fun together, keeping the lines of communication open and honest, mutual respect, passion for life and each other, and being committed through life's many challenges... definitely not a small order, but I believe it still exists, and I'm willing to be patient. In the meantime, a date would be really refreshing... what have we got to lose?

Traveling to places I've not been to before, and enjoying the beauty of nature, perhaps a hike, then picnic, conversation and laughter shared with a good friend. I do enjoy the bigger cities though, having lived in several over the years... lots to see and do. But some of the best times are cooking dinner together, sharing a bottle of wine, and just getting to know someone better.
